Handmade, they are enameled in green and white colors and are decorated with geometrical and flowers patterns.

Robert Picault arrived in Vallauris in 1946, founded the Callis workshop with his schoolmates Roger Capron and Jean Derval. In this village of a hundred potters, capital of the french midcentury modern ceramics, boomed by Picasso's arrival, he's also friend with Jean Cocteau, Fernand Léger and Louis Aragon.

In the Callis studio, Robert shoots the pieces that will be decorated by Roger Capron and distributed by Jean Derval. After their separation, Robert Picault then opened his own workshop to produce personal pieces in matt black metal with animal and female decorations. In addition to utilitarian ceramics, Robert Picault has produced unique works on the themes of birds, fish and femininity with women's faces and bodies.
