Tapis Vert

The Tapis Vert studio was founded in Vallauris in 1948 by René Batigne and the American painter Claire White, and took part in the golden age of Vallauris. Artists such as Anton Prinner, Albert Thiry, Marcel Vertès, Nicolas de Staël and Jacques Prévert came together there.
