Le Grand Chêne

Le Grand Chêne was one of the many studios active in Vallauris after the war, when the town became a centre of French studio ceramics. In 1948 the couple Odette Gourju and Ljuba Naumovitch acquired the workshop, near the big oak tree on the chemin du Fournas where Robert Picault also had his workshop.
