Alain Gaudebert

Born in 1937, Alain Gaudebert is one of the great contemporary French ceramists. His work combines a constant quest for glazed colour with modelled sculpture. He fires exclusively with wood, in a kiln he built himself, whose size alone limits the monumental character of some of his works.

His unique pieces are appreciated by many international galleries and collectors.
