Very nice bedside lamp by the French designer Louis Sognot. It is very well made. The artist has created many models using bamboo and rattan for the structure of his lamps.
The light produced by this table lamp is very warm. This makes it a decorative object whether it is on or off.
The lamp works. A simple adapter may also work well.
