Very nice lamp by the French designer Louis Sognot. It is very well made. The artist has created many models using bamboo and rattan for the structure of his lamps, sconces or pendants.
The light produced by this lamp is very warm. This makes it a decorative object whether it is on or off.
A simple adapter may also work well.
